The ‘HfK Percussion Ensemble’ was founded in 2012 as a project of the Percussion Department at the University of the Arts Bremen.

The ensemble, comprising of musicians from Italy, Germany and Argentina, is primarily dedicated to promoting the music of young contemporary composers. 

As a reward for consistency and hard work, the ensemble was awarded first prize in the ‘HfK Chamber Music Competition 2014’, thus obtaining support for the release of their first CD, and giving them a new impulse for future challenges.

This first album was recorded under the coordination of Prof. Olaf Tzschoppe, member of the renowned percussion group “Le percussions de Strasbourg”, whose guidance magically enriched this process.
